Event Information

Chupacabra the Capuchin MonkeyThe CARE Foundation is a not-for-profit exotic animal rescue and wildlife education facility providing homes for over 200 animals in Apopka. Normally, we only offer private tours so this OPEN HOUSE is a great opportunity to see our facility and learn about our animals.

We will have volunteers available to answer questions about our animals. There will be food trucks, raffles and some limited animal feeding opportunities. (Food will be provided — no outside food, please.)

Facility Access

Our 10-acre facility is partially paved, but there are natural pathways to some of our animal enclosures that may be inaccessible to wheelchairs and electric scooters. To visit all of our animals, please be prepared to do a fair amount of walking and allow a minimum of two hours of time.

Parking

Parking for the Open House will be at the Zellwood Sweet Corn Festival grounds.
